Our First Look At Lori Vallow Daybell In Action As Her Own Attorney

Published by Tony Brueski on

Lori Vallow Daybell, convicted of murdering her two children in Idaho, appeared in Arizona court facing new charges for conspiracy to commit murder in the death of her fourth husband and the attempted murder of her niece’s ex-husband. Acting as her own defense attorney, she questioned the state’s decision to extradite her and made several legal motions. The prosecution dismissed her claims, emphasizing that the trial would focus on the events leading up to the indictment. Despite this, Vallow Daybell continued her efforts to prolong the defense, citing legal precedents and requesting access to a large amount of evidence. Judge Beresky set deadlines for the prosecution’s responses and confirmed the trial would begin March 31, 2025.
